
Jack Himpler joined McLean Wealth Partners in 2021 as a Financial Consultant with the mission of driving greater charitable giving of financial wealth through tax and financial planning so that families can become more intentional about the use of their wealth and how it impacts their enduring legacy. In Jack's current position he works under the supervision of advisors in preparing financial plans Additionally, Jack has developed a keen interest in helping families with special needs members through his involvement in planning for his brother-in-law with down syndrome.
Jack previously worked at Ernst & Young, LLP as a tax consultant specializing in partnerships and individual returns. Jack worked primarily with high-net-worth individuals on a variety of different compliance and tax planning projects. This work has included estate and gift tax planning, as well as assisting our clients in the compliance work for their family businesses, trusts, and individual returns.
Jack graduated from the University of Virginia in 2019 with a bachelor’s degree in Commerce, concentrating in Accounting & Information Technology. After his undergraduate studies, Jack completed all four parts of the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) exam and received his official CPA license in October of 2020.
Jack currently lives in Arlington, VA with his wife Teresa Smaltz and attends St. Agnes Catholic Church.
